Equality & Diversity Course
Equality and diversity is a term that champions equal opportunity for all, giving everyone the same
chances, without prejudice or discrimination. There should be no barriers in your workplace or excuses to treat people differently, or without respect and dignity. In this course, we will guide you through the 9 characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010, the differences between direct and indirect discrimination, and what is meant by the terms: harassment and victimisation. We will also cover how unconscious bias can influence us and provide guidance on how to ensure equality and diversity is a focus within your own environment.
