Great British High Street judges to visit Falkirk town centre

Falkirk Delivers entered the Great British High Street Rising Star Award Category earlier this year and have been successful in our bid to reach the finals after a thorough selection process. This award celebrates high streets that are taking the lead to adapt and diversify, and if successful could see £15k spent in and around our High Street.

The award application focused on Customer Experience, Digital Transformation, Innovation and the Environment, and judges were enthused by the work carried out in partnership such as town centre events and promotions like Social Saturday Gift Card Event, THI improvements and the activites provided by much loved Forth Environment Link Active Travel Hub.

Falkirk is one of the 28 high streets shortlisted for the Rising Star category, other hopefuls include Aberfoyle Main Street, Kempock Street in Gourock, Lanark High Street, Cowdenbeath High Street, King Street in Castle Douglas and The Square in Kelso.
