What We Deliver

Falkirk Delivers Business Improvement District (BID) came out of the former town centre management company and started in June 2008 after a successful ballot of the businesses in a geographically defined area of Falkirk town centre.

After the initial three-year term, businesses in Falkirk town centre were invited to vote again to retain the BID and to retain its many innovative projects and services. This second ballot was again successful, with Falkirk being the first renewal BID ballot in Scotland.

Falkirk Delivers is a not-for-profit company led by a board of directors made up of town centre businesses with representatives from retail, hospitality, media, transport, and financial services as well as Falkirk Council. The company is funded by a levy payment from businesses in the town centre based on the rateable value of their property. Over and above this levy, the company has been very successful in finding additional funding from a variety of sources. All this funding is then allocated to a series of projects and services aimed at delivering the objectives contained in the 2016 – 2021 Business Plan based on the feedback from businesses in the recent research carried out by the BID Team.
